Hello

My name is Terence “Teddy” Milton,

Founder of Servant with a Gift.

I’m a country kid from Fairhope, Alabama, raised by my mother, Theresa Williams, alongside my two older brothers, Tyran and Tedric Milton, my older sister, Tayonna Jackson, and my stepfather, Charles Williams. We didn’t grow up with much financially, but we were rich in love, laughter, faith, and perseverance. Those experiences shaped the man I am today.

As a child, my brothers and I built clubhouse forts, played cops and robbers until the sun went down, and made unforgettable memories. My sister and I spent countless hours on the trampoline—until one day she jumped straight through the middle of it! Those moments remind me that joy isn’t found in what you own, but in who you become.

For over a decade, I’ve been sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ through spoken-word poetry and motivational speaking. What began as a passion has grown into a calling—to use creativity to reach hearts that ordinary conversations sometimes cannot.

Today, Servant with a Gift serves far beyond the stage.

Whether I’m performing in churches, schools, businesses, weddings, conferences, community events, or creating custom advertising campaigns, my mission remains the same:

To tell stories that move people.

I write and perform original spoken-word pieces that inspire, challenge, encourage, honor, celebrate, advertise, and bring people together. Every poem is written specifically for the audience, organization, or occasion, making each performance personal and unforgettable.

From encouraging students to choose purpose…
To strengthening faith in churches…
To helping businesses connect emotionally with their customers…
To celebrating the love between a husband and wife…
To honoring lives at funerals…
To inspiring employees and organizations…

My goal is simple:

Use the gift God gave me to serve others.

I’ve witnessed spoken word open conversations about faith, addiction, depression, purpose, hope, forgiveness, leadership, and perseverance. I’ve seen poetry inspire people to dream again, businesses to tell their stories differently, and communities to come together.

I don’t believe I’m somebody special.

I’m simply a servant with a gift, and my prayer is that every stage, every video, every advertisement, and every performance points people toward hope, purpose, and ultimately Christ.
